ISA Economic Forecasts unveil key data on two webcasts

One of the hardest things to keep on top of in the Industrial Channel is economic forecasts as a channel leader that are specific to your business.

You can quick check the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI), look at the price of Steel, Copper, and Oil….and try and stay up with the latest news. The challenge is there is very little specific to the Industrial Channel forecast and information that you can quickly access and digest.

You have a channel business to run, sales calls to make, customers to serve, products to find and ship….and the list goes on.

That is why I find the economic forecasts and webinars that I get as an Industrial Supply Association member so valuable. I can quickly, concisely on my schedule hear the forecast and direct feedback from the market. This specific to our Industrial Channel data and forecasts are one of the key values for being part of ISA. From the ISA Annual Conference, the ISA and Cleveland Research survey, to specific webinars you can get specific data to help you plan for the rest of 2025 and beyond.

Yesterday on Monday June 23, 2025 ISA released two Industrial Specific Forecasts and Market Data in the same day.

The first thing in my inbox was the Top 3 in 5: Tariffs, Trends and Tough Calls in 5 Minutes – ISA that ISA CEO Brendan Breen and Evan Willmann from Cleveland Research produce exclusively for ISA members.

In the Top 3 in 5, Brendan Breen and Evan Willmann dove into May’s distributor and manufacturer survey results with fresh insight on where the market is trending and where expectations may have fell short. They shared key end market data (automotive and AG) how pricing is being affected, and much more in under 10 Minutes. It’s worth your time to view on demand if you missed it.

ISA Webinar: Recession or Resilience? What the Data Says About U.S. Manufacturing’s Future – June 24, 2025

The webinar description was – Is the U.S. on the brink of a recession, or simply adjusting to a new normal?

Economist Dr. Patrick Wall (Seton Hall University) and investment strategist Rob Hansen, CFA® had a deep conversation about the noise to help industrial leaders make sense of today’s economic signals. They shared dig into what they are watching this week from earnings reports and Fed commentary to inflation and unemployment numbers.

The team dove into – What recent market and policy shifts really mean -How to read the tea leaves on manufacturing health: PMI, industrial production, and more. This session delivered practical advice for business leaders navigating the uncertainty, and it was moderated by ISA CEO Brendan Breen.
